MediaFire that is, MF is just the best filesharing site for free users, IMO. Another good one isMegaupload.
What I don't get is alot of the file sharing communites I frequent choose to use fileserve, fileshare, or even
the worst: Rapidshare. It is beyond me why they would use it. I guess for a premium user it's good, but MF is
great even for free users, allowing you to download multiple files at once REALLY fast.

Criteria is

* ease of use
* lack of captcha
* speed
* number of multiple downloads
* waiting time to downloads
* waiting time between downloads

Megaupload=High Files (It has a faster download rate.)
Mediafire=Small files (No waiting time.)

Most people use other hosting site because they pay them to use them. There's a link generator that creates links to downloads that gives you Premium without you paying for it.

Mediafire is my favorite. Gives me awesome speeds (most of the time anyway) when I use the DownThemAll Firefox addon. Megaupload comes in second.

People use stuff like Fileserve because it generates more money for them compared to other filehosting sites. But I still don't understand why some people still use Rapidshit.

I use Host-A a lot...Mainly because I have been for years, and it's simple to use. You get 50 MB of space, which isn't really a lot, but files don't get deleted, and you can upload any file type.

yeah this m720p rip of the matrix at about 2 gigs would have taken forever if I torrented it, but I'm just about done now.
