Homebrew I keep getting a "Disk Full" error on my G6 Lite

I've had a G6 Lite for about a year and it's been working just fine up until now. This morning I updated my firmware/manager to the most recent version (4.8). Ever since then, I've been having nothing but issues. Every time I try to put a game onto my cartridge it keeps saying "Disk Full." Now I know it's not actually full and I've even tried deleting everything and starting from scratch: no luck. I decided that maybe the firmware was giving me issues, so I downgraded to 4.7 and tried again. I was able to get 2 games onto my cart before I got the same error again. Once again, I am sure that there is enough room on the cart to put games on. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows how to resolve this issue? Thanks.

first thing is, welcome to GBAtemp!

second thing is, there is a section for G6 and you should have post this topic there (and you could search for similar problems before posting new topic)

1- i recently found out that using soft reset will slowly corrupt the G6, its not proven but i'm not using soft reset anymore "myself".
