Can you install Hermes cios 222/223 on a vWii? You see, I've been wanting to use USB Loader GX with may FAT32 Flash Drive in which I store my Wii games in. So is it safe to install the IOS or not?

Only d2x can be used. No Hermes CIOS (which Hermes dropped the development years ago).

    Yes, you can.
Most common usbloaders, namely gx, wiiflow and cfg, sapport lots of file systems: WBFS, FAT, NTFS, EXT2 and EXT3.
Actually d2x is file system indepedent thanks to frag list, at least for disc-based games.
Nand emulation is something different and only FAT is supported.

Somehow, USB Loader GX doesn't seem to recognize my flash drive. Anyway to fix this?

Yes, but I get this message that says "Initiating USB device" and waited for what seems like several minutes, and then it doesn't read it.

I dunno, the WiiU is said to have a poor power supply so that might be an issue, try another loader.

Wait, the Wii U has a poor power supply? Gee, I did not know that. I'm already using Configurable USB loader so.....

By the way, does anyone know how to close threads?
