Hacking I have 3.3U with softmods

I am still pretty new to the homebrew world with the nintendo wii and was wondering if it was worth upgrading to 4.0. I was given the wii from a family friend and it was already at 3.3U.

I was just wondering really what the pros and cons of doing it would be.

The main thing i found since updating to 4.0 was the SD card and loading VC/WiiWare games from it. Quite useful for saving space on the wii's main hard drive.

This is a good link for upgrading safely that worked for me. Also backup your NAND with BootMii
