Oh, and also, I said that maybe something is wrong with 11th graders because all the kids in my PE class are 11th graders, except for one girl who is a 12th grader like me. The reason why this happened is because in this school, you need 3 years of PE to graduate. In most schools, you only need 2. So when I started this school last year, I was missing a year of PE, and I had to take it.

In my school you had to take four!

It was broken up like two years of 9/10 gym and two years of 11/12 gym. Of course, each year I'd be in the minority age group, I feel for you.

Wow, 4 years? That really sucks. Well, I guess there is ONE positive side to this PE class. It's co-ed. So I get to watch scantily clad underage girls working up a sweat an-

So yeah, how about that volleyball?

I love doing this in my PE :3 boobs

I am the absolute worse in my PE. Total and utter trash. I can't do shit in any sport, and it's to the point where I don't even try to get anything better than passing grade. But at least the rest of the group is kind and still share good tips or cheers...

I only have to take 1/2 a year of PE, and half a year of health!

I've been through this before in Ohio. Hate those schools full of annoying dicks. I'm just glad that this school I'm in now in Florida is good, have yet to have any problems with people.

There's always douches like that. Make fun of them back. They'll stop eventually. I'm generally bad at sports, so I get made fun of by friends (of whom I make fun of back, and I generally don't ever get angry), or by the random people I'm playing with (depending on who they are; if they think they're bad asses, I try to make them prove it, but they never do at my school, if they're just being friendly, I go along with it). Showing someone you can stand up for yourself usually makes them stop. Whether you feel you can "beat them up" or not, for some reason people like seeing it when someone can defend them self.

My suggestion: Come up with better comebacks. Also, when you do good, make it clear to the douches on your team, as well as making it clear when you see them sucking. Make friends with that nice kid as well, so you're not so bored the whole period.

I'm glad that you're trying....most people who are bad at sports (myself included) tend to just give up on it.

Most people's responses are that high school PE doesn't mean anything and you will never learn anything that is applicable to the real world. Which is the cop out response. If you view things as a waste of time, they will be; it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. At the very least, you should be learning how to work as a team to accomplish a goal....let's be fair though, your team isn't doing too hot with that right now.

Now, here's a little perspective that I've noticed over the years.

The guys who are good at sports are not fundamentally different from the nerdy dudes. A little better in social situations, sure, but most of that is sourced in confidence. Confidence is an easy thing to fake, believe it or not, and it's pretty likely that a lot of the confident dudes who are good at sports have their insecurities too...but you know what? Sports are their 'thing'. It's what they can do, excel in, and be the best at. Chances are, the dudes giving you shit are pretty average in most other walks of life...they're just mostly interested in soaking up the positive attention and displacing the negative attention.

I'm not saying to use my advice as some attempt to manipulate them or anything like that. In fact, it's probably not that useful to you, because my thought patterns didn't run along these lines when I was a junior in high school, and I doubt yours or theirs do either. It's not really an issue of intelligence or anything...just experience.

Although I will say that anger is about the most negative way to respond to most trivial situations...it doesn't really prove anything to anybody. And getting in a fight you can't win is noble in some circumstances, but not this time.

Having all these thoughts in your head all the time will not help. Just speak your mind. Who cares about the consequences and possible awkward moments that will come from it.
It will influence the behavior of your classmates and how can it get any worse than this. They hate you already.

They have no right to call you names for no other reason than that you suck at the game. Point out their flaws.
You have just as much right to be there as they so. (If not more for not being an asshole)
For the next 5 weeks... Just load up your ipod with relaxing songs and go watch the team that one hot girl plays in.
The semester will be over before you know it.

Haha, teen angst. Don't worry man, people must hate you too!! You would probably love to quit school and stick with your scantily clad underage 2D girls in your mother's basement. You just know they'll never hurt you.

Thanks for the nice comments. Fuck you, Mei-o. And for the record, we live in an apartment. No basement, asshole.

Well, today I had PE, and I was a total dick. I figured I'd give them a taste of their own medicine. I was the biggest douchebag, yelling at everyone, getting upset over everything, and pointing out everyone's mistakes. And guess what? They were the most quiet they've ever been thus far.

See? A few people told you to do this, and it helped.
