I was playing Pokémon Stadium 2 with my brother and for some reason Venustoise and some gen 3 Pokémon were in the game and I realized someone had sold me a repro with a hackrom.
So I woke up thinking, why are there people who make all sorts of SM64 hackroms, but no Pokémon Stadium 2 hacking scene? If someone made tools to import 3D models and animations and put their own Pokémon and moves into the game, just imagine the possibilities for custom N64 turn based battle simulators. You could do all sorts of things like recreate Super Smash Bros as a turn based game.
And on that note, another interesting game for a hacking scene that I haven't seen touched beyond reskinning Cpt Falcon as Ganondorf: Smash 64.
