I got banned

Hey guys, so i got banned recently, im really sad. Is there a solution to unban without buying a new one or replacing the motherboard. Beacuse I used my 5 year allowance to buy it so help will be super appreciated. I have a moded/homebrewed/hacked switch if that helps.

The only limitation you have now is Online play. Everything else is still intact. You have a HUGE catalog of games available that you will likely not even make a dent in playing them all. Time to move on dot org man. This isn’t the big deal it feels like right now. The Switch ban is unfortunately permanent but the feelings that this is a loss will pass.

Sadly there is no way to Unbann a Switch because Nintendo will bann the per Console Unique server Connection Key and the Serial of your Switch. Even if you Change your Serial Number the Bann will be still there.

The Only thing that you can use right now is the System Update anything other will give you just the Bann Error Code.

Usable are:
Playing Games in Singleplayer or lokal Multiplayer
System Update via System Settings

Unusable with a Console Ban are:
Online Gaming
Nintendo eShop
Downloading Game Updates
Save Transfer to Another Switch
Cloud Saves

There is only one way to get unbanned and that is buying a new Switch and then never Mod this new Switch and use it Normally.

They're only JUST winding down the eshop for the 3DS, do you really think they're going to shut down the servers as soon as a new console drops? You're pretty much shafted as far as your Switch goes, sorry.

I was banned very early on because I tried a ..... preserved ..... version of smash online. I knew what I was doing and I suspected it would happen. It was immediate. The only thing I've been able to do since then is update the firmware. Haven't regret it for a second but then again I find it easy to aquire and ... preserve what I want. Wouldn't trade my banned console for a brand new oled.

I wouldn't throw away or try to sell your banned one. Now that it's CFWed up you might as well keep it on the side for 'unsanctioned by Nintendo' business. You'll probably want to buy a new one in future so you can actually play online legit though.

Aye ye did. We don't mean that you played online, we mean that the console was connected to the internet. That's all it takes for Nintendo to notice you have games you didn't purchase installed on your switch and then ban you.

If you never went online you wouldn't even know that you're banned.

If you never went online you wouldn't even know that you're banned.

Just by connecting to WiFi, you're already sending telemetry back to Nintendo. Unless you have specific settings to block nintendo servers. Even if you notice 5 seconds later, by then it may have already been too late.
