I Just want to be sure if this doesn't exist yet but,
What if you can extract a game inside of your 3ds flashcard and inject a new one.
Would be it possible to do such action.
I mean why buy ninjhax flashcards that cost a lot when you can just inject the game into a 3ds flashcard
Would it be amazing ?

Express yourself down below.

yeah .. I really wante dto recycle games that no one want :v I have a lot of stuck n64 carts with me that would be greath to turn into an oot rom hack or something lol

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

also I heard that some 3DS games are nand based and you can do it but where mot wanted games like pokemon XY or something? And not sure if can become "any game" or just another nand based one

I have an idea: clicking on "idea" topics is generally a bad idea

Yes, card2 games are on a fully rewritable nand chip (there's some write protection but I've heard of someone bricking their Pokemon game while developing some save tool, iirc -- nobody cared enough to actually program them to something meaningful)

(also why do we call them custom ROMs on android when we can r/w them?)
Historical reasons. Most so-called PDAs around the start of the millennium had no flash memory, the operating system was on a real rom, and ram was partitioned between area actually usable by programs and file storage.
This is also why some people call a factory reset a "hard reset" -- just remove power to get back to how it was in the box!
