I Cant get Games To launch

Just softmodded my wii and i followed the cios guides down to a t. The file setup is through wiibackup so its namned correctly. After starting game it just reloads me back to the homebrew menu. Hdd is formatted to fat 32 and its partions style is mbr. ive been at it for three days and im about ready to give up. thanks

If you've done everything correctly chances are u have an incompatible drive. Is it a small thumb drive? You could try formatting it as wbfs instead of fat32 as that often improves compatibility, albeit at the cost of forgoing fat32 benefits

also could you reccomend a drive. imusing a toshiba 1 tb hdd formatted to fat32 in mbr partiton style. it was a ps5 storage but cleaned it hoping i would be able to enjoy all the wii and gamecube games.

You're missing cios's, evidently the steps weren't followed to a T, lol.

Either use modmii, or follow wii.guide

If using modmii, run its main wizard and tell it your wii is a virgin, even if it isn't true. Or just drag and drop your syscheck.csv onto modmii.exe and it will tell you what to do.

Edit: you're also missing priiloader. It looks like all u did was install the hbc and bootmii.

Using what? ModMii will download them for you.
