Habe you tried using another Bluetooth controller instead of WiiMote?
Since WiiMote won't connect to BootMii, maybe Logitech Bluetooth controller will connect to BootMii.

no i think bootmii just doesnt take controllers in general. I would try airpods instead

bootmii have no bluetooth stack, you can use GC controllers if your console have the ports but nothing else.

There is a tutorial here about using a donor NAND to create a new nand backup for your console, extracting the files and repackaging them with your own keys.

ModMii makes this process easier if u drag and drop your nand.bin onto modmii.exe

Have you tried with a Nunchuck instead?
I'm sure Nunchuck can connect to Bootmii
