So i bought a used PS2 from my local Goodwill and it has some issues.
The PS2 does boot up without a disk and i can browse memory card content and what not. I even put in a Free MCboot memory card and it booted up just fine.
The first issue i noticed was that it was really dusty. So i opened it up and cleaned it with my air compressor.
When launching a disk however, that's where i'm having the biggest issue. When launching a disc, the PS2 logo shows up but the game does not launch. I'm not sure why but it might have something to do with the fan not spinning fast. The PS2 is very quiet.
Funally enough, HD Loader does in fact work. But once again, there is still no Audio.
So ya, any thoughts on what is going on?
