Hacking I bought a 2DS, Is it "hacked" ?

Hey there. My brother just bought myself a nintendo 2DS and it was advertised as "stock". My brother turned it on and said it is different than his nintendo 3DS' layout. Can someone please tell me if my 2DS is "normal" ?
I'd also provide some informations that you need but I dont know which information you guys need. I can post the System thingy first if that helps. Thanks in advance!

When i go into system settings it says "Sys 11.5.0-38E"

If I can provide some other information please let me know^^

Yes, it has some form of CFW

Put the SD card that came with the console in a computer, and send a picture of its root ("outside of any folder"); while you have it out, does the 2DS start without an SD card?

The 2DS starts normally, but there are missing shortcuts on the mainmenu that were there before.

Good, now, last question: put the SD back in the console (with the power fully off), and hold Select while turning it on; you should see some red, blue, and white text, starting with "Luma3DS xxxx configuration" - what number is there before "configuration"?

Then your 2DS is modded with Luma 7.1 (installed to both SD and CTRNAND) and boot9strap 1.0 or 1.1!

While they still work fine (you can even update your console to the newest 11.7 from the settings), they are a little old and don't have all the newest tweaks (which of course you may or may not care about...): if you want to update them, you can follow the instructions at https://3ds.hacks.guide/updating-b9s

There is a app installed called "freeshop" which I assume is to download games. But it doesnt show any games to download and tells me that title keys are missing. Can you tell me how to set it up or is it just plain broken?^^

First, most likely it's an outdated version of Freeshop, and you should update it first by downloading the newest one from https://notabug.org/evi/freeShop/releases (you install CIA files by putting them on your SD, and opening them with a title manager; you probably have "FBI" - which would also benefit from an update)

Then, you must go to Freeshop's settings and program a certain website into its "automatically update title keys" feature; this forum's rule prohibit directly naming it, however the address begins with "http://3ds." and ends with "/downloadenc"

There's a guide for freeshop in the first post of this thread: https://gbatemp.net/threads/3ds-noob-paradise-ask-questions-here.359035/ I'd just remove the freeshop you have installed (you can use system settings -> data management) and follow the guide to install the newest version (there have been a few variants from different developers over time and considering your Luma was a bit out of date freeshop is probably outdated too)
