i bought a ps4 already modded, never touched it really since having it, with this new exploit to support higher firmware, does it have to be on that firmware or does it spoof and remain on 5.05

If you are on 5.05 it is better for you to stay on 5.05 since games that work for 6.72 can be backported to 5.05. I think the necessary tools have already been released.

I just updated to 6.72 and use the C0d3m4st4 ESP8266 Xploit Host and 3 out of 3 attempts was working. (2 x V2, 1 x V1).

Seems only that you have to reinstall the 5.05 games, because the wont start, only with error message.

dude just tested and i think you may have something here just did two test back to back loads nice find my friend i salute you

8 tests and this worked 8times in a row!!!

Ive tried this method with little success best to host the files on your local PC and JB from there;

Issues i found on Monday using the latest versions.

1. JB fails many times.
2 When the JB works it can crash on Settings Menu.
3. Installing PKG's it will crash on each install.

Just my findings
