I think you pretty much covered it except I would put nothing before Ultra (Hyper Ultra sounds better though).
BTW SSF2 on SNES has the best sound of all versions. Even the arcade games don't sound as awesome. Too bad the SNES didn't get SSF2T. However, the Alpha 2 port was surprisingly good.

PAL/JP or US SSF2 SNES? The former uses different, higher quality samples
I only know/have the PAL version. I didn't know there was a difference in sound!
yeah, PAL/JP music is better tbh, I prefer its more megaman like samples.
