Hyper Mega Tech - Super Pocket - programming questions

Hello everyone.

Just got myself the Atari edition and an EverSD card. I am a game developer for over 20 years.

Does anyone have idea what hardware/OS is on this little thing?
I would like to try an compile something for it and see what I can do.
I have looked at RetroArch and it looks like some kind of linux.

Any help is much appreciated.

It is Linux based. Have you had a look at the EverSDK yet HERE?

Do you happen to know if/how I could compile binaries on Windows and run them on the Hyper Mega Tech?

You would need to setup the SDK in a VM or docker container on Windows to get the needed linux environment if you don't have a PC running linux handy, as well as your EverSD and patching your Super Pocket to run unsigned code as root with the "SuperPatcher Atari Edition".
