Thought the same. At first i believed I clicked on the first pastebin again cause they are so similar. The whole thing is just nuts, even the way how both conversations have a similar format is a bit suspicious.
The OP suggests we hold off on IOSU to ensure Hykem's safety.
watIf at some point a development is made in regards to Hykem's, we should pause IOSU and pursue this.
I don't think that would have been the best way to go out. Why make a flashy exit when you want to go silent?Thought the same. At first i believed I clicked on the first pastebin again cause they are so similar.
Maybe he just wanted a fancy way of quitting the Wii U hacking scene?
A person's safety should always come first. You're focusing on the wrong parts of that post lol.
Whether this is real or not, meh (although I personally think it's on the fake side). It was kind of hard to follow.. My concern is him stating that whether or not this is real is irrelevant, then proceeded to talk as it were real. Makes it relevant, no?
Not to mention, we don't even know what the real story is. We don't know if this "they" is really a danger. The blackmail.. The... Well everything.

I guess we all reserve the right to say this is fake, but until a dev disapproves it, I'm still gonna worry about the guy.
Doesn't it worry anyone that he might be in some serious trouble? Maybe I'm just gullible, but fake or not, I don't want to ignore something like this.

No, I'm just confused on why he would suggest stopping work on IOSU only for the "safety" of one person
Whether IOSU is being worked on by others or not will not affect Hykem.
Maybe so he has a reason to say he never comes back?I don't think that would have been the best way to go out. Why make a flashy exit when you want to go silent?
Even if Hykem were in danger I feel like contacting anyone other than him could be way too far. Unless we are 100% sure of his endangerment tracking down and contacting relatives or family members could easily be seen as stalking, and I'm sure the last thing anyone wants Hykem to think is that we're stalking the guy. Those of you who watch smaller review-based YouTubers will know about IHE's dox attempt, and while those attacks were ill-intentioned the OP basically proposes we do the same thing. I'm not okay with that. The reason he left is widely debated but there's no denying that the community wasn't exactly being nice to him, and to have that same community start contacting your family members asking for information on your current situation takes it out of good intentions. While I would like to know if he's safe, if he isn't going to tell us (or can't) then there isn't much that can be done about it.
It just sounds like too much of a plan to just say that. Making this rumor would have just brought more attention to his absence.Maybe so he has a reason to say he never comes back?
But, to be brutally honest, if we dont know if It's real or fake, there's no sense in debating about it.
