So I got games from the Android Humble Indie Bundle, and I noticed on the Marketplace, there are updates. And of course when I try to click update, it says you can't, because you haven't purchased them. Do you not get updates for these games at all or something?

Did they install through the Market, or did the humble bundle site let you download .apk files?
The Market will act like you just side-loaded the apps if the latter is true. So it's normal. You'd have to update it manually or through the HB site if they offer them.

The Humble Bundle people said they were working on a way to get it to work so we could get updates but haven't said anything about it since the start of the bundle. So, maybe they gave up on that...

I got it from the Humble Bundle site through the text.

That's right, I forgot I saw something like that posted.

Since they used APKs, your only way to update is to go back to the page you downloaded the games from. Otherwise, you'd have to probably wait for the Humble Bundle team and Google to make out a deal.

They also said they were gonna get us an ICS compatible update for Toki Tori. Yeah, so much for that.

There is a Humble Indie Bunble apk you can download that'll notify you if there are updates, though you'll need to download the new apks to update.

I was going to point that out too; the app has been available (at least in some form of alpha stage) for a while now.

One of the sites that weren't blocked on the school's network was some file uploading sites. I would upload some games, write down the URL and take it to school one day.
