Introducing a new TPP! ... um ... except it's not TPP!

What are the differences then, Snail?
+almost no lag. < 1 sec
+instant keyboard input without logging into an irc chatroom and typing words.
+optional irc chat.
+non-fugly super awesome full-color GBA poke-graphics!
+only Anarchy allowed! :o

-Plain looking webpage. But hey, you're watching the game right? Doesn't matter then.
-Not many people playing, but that's where you come in. Your button mashing will count for something here!

Coded with love by Nintendo and iPhone hacker extraordinaire COMEX!

Do you people not understand the concept behind this and Twitch Plays Pokemon?
The idea revolves around the fact that you, the user who is typing into the chat, is controlling the game.
Combine that with the rest of the community and you get many people trying to play a game using one Gameboy.

And how does that make it fun?

I like it better when it is I, the user who is holding the handheld, is controlling the game.

Twitch Plays Pokemon was a neat gimmick but I can't see myself finding anything similar interesting.

I mean the "lolsorandom" appeal of it is lost basically after you hear the premise, most of the time it's just watching a sprite do nothing except move in circles.

I've seen people just sit there and watch it in the background but I'd rather, I dunno, listen to music or something.

And they bough 87 antidotes. So with a lvl 6 pokemon in a ~lvl15 area, this game is pretty much ruined since they can't grind and can't buy any pokeballs.

If you have two monitors it's great for putting in a corner of one of them, doing something else entirely and occasionally glancing at it. Constantly watching... yeah I'm not sure why anyone would want to do that.

TPP is a cool experiment, this feels a lot like a ''hey, if we copy the idea we can make money!''.
Not that's an uncommon way to think, but this is not another Angry Birds clone, this idea sucks. And it's the same game too! Put a chess tournament game or something. That would be entertaining.
