This has somewhat bugged me for a few days now as I cant seem to find the reason for this.

In my HP G60 Bios it has a Enable / Disable for CPU Virtualization tech. for Intel this would be "Intel VT" but on this Version of HP G60 with an AMD CPU its AMD-V.

Well in the bios HP Clearly states that HP Recommends this feature remains disabled unless specialized Software will be in use that needs the CPU Extension. My thoughts are is to "Why?"

I've not seen any change in the running temps of the CPU with it enabled, nor is it running any slower than before. So im having trouble figuring out why HP Would recommend users disable a feature (Which is also needed for XP Mode for Windows 7)

Anyone care to share there thoughts?
