Gaming HP Compaq nc6230 DVD Burner

Am I able to purchase a DVD Burner for a laptop this old? Model is HP Compaq nc6230, and the DVD Drive in it is ONLY for Reading, and burning CD-R's and CD-RW's. I'd like to upgrade it so I can at least burn DVD's. Is that do-able?

yep, its doable, just make sure the interface is correct, but there is only 1 only laptop interface that I know of.
