Hacking How would I "reverse" apptousb?

I got my PS4 summer 2020 and I was on 5.05 a shortime before updating the 6.72. I had tried apptousb, but decided not to use it and forgot the reason why but had to do a database rebuild. So all my games disappeared but I was able to use the python method to get the games to show back up. However they would show up on my main menu but they were now showing in storage and also I couldn't delete them.

I have figured out how to adjust the app.db to be able to delete the games again, but when they show up in storage they show still as apptousb because they show up as 10 mb or less and and as external data something like that. How would I get the games to show up fully in storage again?

Devs are working on a PKG version of the DB restore payload (SQL DB integration was the reason it hadn’t been done until now), hopefully an easier solution will become a thing one day.

as for modifying the payload, you need the payload SDK and the source, if available, on GitHub.
