Hacking How to use ExFAT cards?

I have a quick question about FAT32 vs ExFAT on my 256GB MicroSD card. I was able to successfully "flash" to v6.x using hekate/Choi but I must be missing something as I get an error about not being able to read a MicroSD if it is formatted in ExFAT. What else do I need to do in order to be able to use those cards instead of FAT32? The real firmware on my Switch is v5.1 at this time, and I didn't want to blow any further fuses unless I had to.

Thanks in advance, I am sure it is something simple. I just want to be able to use my ExFAT cards. Is this the archive bit issue even though I formatted the card in MacOS X?

You need to chose the exfat option in choidujournx while installing the FW to install the exfat update.
