Hi,

is Starfall the only software way to unbrick a wii?
You will need Firmware 3.2E to install Starfall and i got a wii with 3.3E :-(
the thing is, i allready got HBC installed with the gamma loader and xi gc loader working. when i want to install starfall, will all these apps still work?
do i really have to install IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad, cios_fix.wad, cIOS Installer and Install Shop IOS51 again?
thank you.

Take apart your Gamecube controller, hold down the 4 buttons on the d-pad all at the same time after you plug it into port 4 (4th player).

then turn on your Wii.

It's best to have someone help at this point.

You'll have to have a modchip installed to autoboot Zelda or WADManager disc.

This works without starfall.

------------ This answers your topic question.

You do need 3.2 to install starfall. You'll have to reinstall the cIOSCORP hacks and all that fun jazz if you downgrade to 3.2

You won't have to install the shop fix, *MIGHT* have to do 16, and def have to do cios_fix.

ok. i dont have a modchip..
so i really have to do this (again)? :

+Load Wad Manager in Homebrew Channel and install IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad
+Load Custom WM in Homebrew Channel and install cios_fix.wad
+Load IOS Downgrader in Homebrew Channel
+Load cIOS Downgrader in Homebrew channel : 3.2E = Europe
+Load Starfall with Homebrew Channel, Press B+1 until you get to the next screen and install options
+Run cIOS Installer in Homebrew Channel.
+Load "Install Shop IOS51". Say Yes to installing IOS51 and Yes to patching a fix but No to the Wii Shop Channel.
+Load Wad Manager in Homebrew Channel and install gamma backup loader

+install cIOS 36 (or IOS 249)
+load MIOS Patcher in Homebrew Channel., press X on the GameCube controller once, press A and let the install process go.
+Load Wad Manager in Homebrew Channel and gamcube backup loader

finished?

to i have to uninstall the gamma loade and gamecube loader etc first, before i begin with step 1?
