Hacking How to tell PS VITA firmware 3.51 or lower?

Is there anyway to tell on the box if the PS VITA is firmware 3.51 or lower? Like serial numbers.

I remember when i purchased my PSP, there was a range of serials that would guarantee you the firmware is 2.XX.

All models can be upgraded so serial numbers aren't going to help. If you're buying off of eBay/Gumtree just politely ask the seller which version they're on. A lot of people who bought the original one especially have just let them sit in a drawer for months so there's a good chance it'll have an older firmware version.
