when i run the emunand thing on homebrew launcher it just goes back to the home menu. what do i do?

Why are you setting up an EmuNAND? If you think it's going to make you any safer, you're sorely mistaken.
Is it for Emunand9? That's a horribly outdated tool and a horribly outdated way to run it.
