This may seem embarrassing but I just bought an original catridge of the Japanese version of Mole mania. Looked it up and it says there's battery backup for saving feature. Thing is I don't know Japanese so I'm not sure how to save exactly from AFAIK it was supposed to save automatically but at which point does the game save or is it that my battery is dead?

Reviews and the such state its a auto save feature. from it being a actual GB cart I am not surprised that the save battery is long gone. Theres probably not many gb carts out there that got any battery left in them at this point.
