Hacking How to play NDS?

Hello, what is the current most up to date method to play NDS games?

I'm reading different things and I'm very confused. Some say WUP. Others say Loadiine. Still others say injecting. Then there is vWii. Where do I start??

I have the Wii U USB Helper workaround on reddit, but there are only 3DS games there, which cannot even be downloaded anyway due to Nintendo having patched this method. So I really don't know where to start. I see there are so many tutorials on the tutorial subforum, but which one do I pick? Some are really vague and uninformative, as they often presume you already are skilled in softmodding, which I'm not.

Inject them. And install them via wup installer. That's all.

Then you do something wrong. Wii U USB Helper works fine for me. Look in the setting what the helper should show you. Maybe the wii u games are disabled for the moment.

I might have been unclear. I do see Wii U games, and I may occasionally play them. But I mainly want to play DS games

You can download nds vc with usb helper by choosing the filter setting and making sure nds titles box is ticked to show them in your list.

If the game you want is not there then you would have to inject it yourself using an inject app and a base file image which would be an nds game downloaded with usb helper, but choose unpack title in the download manager screen to give you the format required.

I use phacox injector as its quite easy and you'll find it below with instructions but there are a few others you may prefer personally.
