how to make modified files into a patch

So, I learned a bit about 3ds romhacking recently, but I want to know how to make a patch out of my modified files so I can share the hack, and I also want to know how to apply the patch to the game. Can anyone help me with this?

compare the two files in FLIPS, and spit out a .BPS file. That will be your patch to apply to the original file you started with.

By the two files I assume you mean the original files and the modified ones, and by FLIPS you mean Floating ips? And how do I apply the patch?

Well after you install FLIPS, you can doubleclick the BPS file and it will ask for the original ROM. You find it, and hit okay. Then it will ask you to save the newly patched file somewhere.Hit save, and it will tell you "Patched Successfully."
