I'm guessing you want to find a website that does all the shit for you, all you have to do is choose the template and enter a few lines of text?

Second this. Or Wordpress or Drupal maybe, I like those more.

That's a CMS, a Content Management System (right? [IMG])
You install it, get some theme from somewhere, and just add content, no coding at all.
And, all those CMSes are pretty expandable in its functionality by downloading external Module's.

Just look into one of them and you'll understand what Im talking about.

Use x10hosting for either HTML or pre made sites.

My thanks for the advice here. Setting up my site now. I've needed a place to post the details of my game/fanfic projects for ages now. Screenshots, development details, etc. This won't be a decent site, but it's a start I suppose.

Y'all want me to make a step-by-step guide on setting up a website and running a blog or something on it?

Now that it's been mentioned in this thread I suppose there's a lot of people in this community that want a site to post their findings on various things, but don't know where to begin.

    actually Rydian , that'd be great ^^ .
you're the tech guy @ our forum , so seeing many of your other easy to follow FAQs and Guides , i am guessing that this one will be extremely noob friendly and easy to follow ! Blog/Site , either or would be good , since people would need it for different needs .

That probably would be a good idea, actually.

The video that was posted seemed like it could have easily been something you'd do as well, although it wasn't.

Question: how can I merge my forumer forum page from here! with a mini blog like BLog spot or Word Press? Can I do it free?

Also, I just opened this site. There is only one member! If you do decide to join, you can enter my exclusive GBAtemp user lounge! [IMG] AND, who knows? I might hire you as one of my own personal staff members! If this is advertising, please delete this part of the post! [IMG]

Ryukouki: It really depends on the software involved, but there's multiple "portals" that can integrate various features into a forum, it's how many sites are done.

I've decided against a tutorial because there's just so many different paths to take I can't possibly cover it.
