Hacking how to install oot3dhax for 11.6?

I have 2 3ds, one is a New 3DS XL on version 11.5, and another one on 11.6 (old 3ds xl), and would like to put homebrew on it. but everytime i run the installer (from the starter kit, on my new 3ds), i get the error code 00000002, i dont know why. Yes, i have formated the oot3d game card. What can i do?

The exploit installer will not work above firmware 11.2. There is nothing you can do about it on an updated console.

You could downgrade it to then be able to use the installer (make an emuNAND if you'd like to avoid messing with your data).

I think you can use Luma to load 3dsx files.
