I feel like my modded Switch screen isn't as bright as I want it to be. I think it's the backlight, it doesn't look as good as my Switch 2 screen. I used Fizeau to try to make color look better, but while people say that tool makes a night and day difference it just made colors look worse for me.

My Switch is a Japan import one, my previous one got lost at a bus in March last year... I will note that the screen showed some yellowing in the left edge of the screen, but I don't remember the Switch screen being as dim as this one

Also, I tried increasing the backlight with hekate, I can't tell if that makes a difference. Just wondering if I can improve this using software

LED backlights do have a lifetime and get less bright over time.
Yellow discolorations are a sign that your led backlight is aging.
You could consider replacing your screen (as the backlight is integrated into the screen).

You mean your switch 2? Like 2 not v2? If you meant v2 you can obtain the screen from v2 and mount it in your v1 I think, but if you meant 2 like Switch 2, then just LOL :toot:
