ROM Hack how to hack a ds rom

how can i hack a ds rom i have searched google
but i only founded something for the gba does anyone know
where i can find something to hack it???? or is it just impossible to hack it

i want to translate a game
do i need programming skills?

Before you guys flame this guy into oblivion, dude's got a point. Even just a small article on how to start rom hacking would be exceedingly helpful. Right now all sorts of info is spread over hundreds of forum posts.

I think you have gotten us wrong, have you seen anyone flaming for no reason in the romhacking section?
