I downgraded my New 3DS and set up reinand 10.4, and now I'm going about installing CIAs of my DSiware to sysnand so I can play them, because they have to be on both. The problem is that the only way I know to get CIAs of these is on that one site, and it doesn't have some of the games I . So is there a way to dump my own DSiware games from emunand and install them to sysnand? The only methods I've seen involve a bunch of stuff on firmware 4.5, which I'm not willing to do.

Sorry for my not understanding, but this allows me to do what, exactly?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Edit: Oh. I get the ticket.db and then use this to download the games from the CDN and turn them into CIAs?

My RxTools doesn't have a dump tickets option? Why is that? Do I need a different version? I thought I had the latest version. Was that feature removed?

Did you get this to work?

I am currently on:
9.2 sysNand (downgraded)
10.5 emuNand (updated)

My DSiWare are on both.

I'd like to unlink/tinyformat sysNand.

But only when I have a way of getting my DSiWare games back onto it.

Yes it did. Let me know if you have any further questions or run into any issues and I'll try to help you out.

OK! :)

I grabbed my tickets.db with Decrypt9WIP
I listed the titles using dumpTicketKeys.py (and grep 00048004 to find my DSiWare titles)
I generated the .cia using FunkyCIA2
So, now have .cia files of my five DSiWare games

My sysNand and emuNand are linked

I can install the .cia on emuNand using FBI

I cannot install the .cia on sysNand using FBI
I have tried running hax and FBI at boot time
and also from browserhax on sysNand
Error Message:
Code:
Source: SOURCE_FSFILE_WRITE (0x1c)
Module: MODULE_NN_AM (0x20)
Level: LEVEL_PERMANENT (0x1b)
Summary: SUMMARY_INVALID_ARGUMENT (0x7)
Description: DESCRIPTION_INVALID_SIGNATURE (0x6a)

I'm guessing there's something wrong with my .cia files?

Thanks for any help!

That appears to be the same message I got at first. Did you use the -personal option with FunkyCIA2? That's what I did at first and I got this same error. You'll need to recreate the CIAs without that option if that is what you did. I'm not sure why but that's what fixed it for me.

OK, I managed to do it but not really as "cleanly" as I would like. But it works.

My CIAs were OK, not created with -personal. But I could not install them through FBI due to seemingly signature checks still being active through ReiNand.

So I used miniPasta to boot sysNand with signature checks disabled, and then ran HBL through browserhax.
This let me install to sysNand from FBI.

Yeah. Sorry. I forgot to mention the fact that you needed to use minipasta to disable signature checks for the sysnand installs. Sorry about that. Though I've heard it's best to use BigBlueMenu to install things to sysnand, as well as custom theme CIAs.

Indeed, you should be. Good job. Let me know if you need anything else. I'll try to help you as best I can.
