1. Plug the cart into the USB writer.
2. Plug the USB writer into your computer.
3. (Assuming you're using windows..) Open "My Computer".
4. Right-click on the drive letter that your USB writer is recognized as.
4. Choose "Format".
5. Choose "FAT" for the filesystem. You *have to * to be able to update the firmware.
6. Click "Start".
Wait a few seconds, and voila!
