Hacking How to extract save files?

So I wanted to use pkhex. How can I extract save files from installed Pokemon CIAs? thanks!

I would run homebrew launcher from emunand and use svdt.

Save Data Filer would also work, but svdt is much more user-friendly. Ah, and also it's not illegal to download and much easier to find.

i always use SDF, at first i was too dumb to use it,

but now it has become so important for me, i back up my cia games saves once every month and store them up on my computer and my hdd just in case my sd card or my nands fuck up !

SDF is simply export and import thing . (3dsdb helps alot in knowing what save game you want to back up etc. so i use that one too, and made a notepad text file and add my uniqueID codes of the installed games i always play just as a reminder)

Yeah, if we could have actual game names in SDF it would be a no-brainer. haha

There are games that aren't supported by svdt but work with SDF though, and in these cases then SDF would be the superior choice
