Hello,

I have launched an installation of a game on my USB hdd, but this one failed.

Now when i am going into settings and usb data management, i indicates that unwanted files are present.

But the process through the console doesn't seems to work.

Is there any way to delete it ?

I found that running a game installed on the hard drive for a few seconds then exit the game quickly and go into data management and it fixes for me.

You have to successfully install the game and then it will go away. Then if you wanted to uninstall it you could.
This, only other fix is a full format and start again..not much of a fix. Don't bother with the wiiU promt to fix it will stick on a loop, you will be prompted again after the format but it will only take a second then.

The thing it's that i think the install failed because of corrupted files during DL.

I have 19Go to redownload, hoping this time it will work ...

It's not a very clean solution ...

The easiest way to fix this is to download any demo game from the eshop then delete the failed install this method has worked for me on several occasions.

Try what i suggested. It works for me. Run another game from the hard drive if you have one then exit quickly to home menu then go into data managment and try to delete

Try deleting it with sysconfigtool? (if you have that installed, that is)

I have also try this, but it doesn't appear in list ...

That would assume the op has rednand which they have not stated anywhere. Op if you don't have rednand don't install the sysconfigtool to nand as you will have a expensive brick. Sysconfigtool is for rednand only.
