Is there a possibility to deinstall not needed system apps like near, parental controls etc. ?

I think those apps r in vs0. u might try deleting them from there as well as removing their entries in the app.db. be warned though as u might have to reinstall the firmware if u do this. it shouldn't brick afaik, but you've been warned.

btw, I believe near is used as a hacking entry point (possibly for mai; maybe only for vitamin), so don't delete that. u can find the title id by looking in your app.db. use sqlite browser to do this. I think deleting the app, then rebuilding the database should suffice in removing the entries.

edit: also, u can find the title id by way of the appicon table. it will be listed there which is how themes change the icons I believe.

Thanks for the info.

Backup your vs0
You can delete the default apps (you can delete any app, but you will probably soft break that way :D )

Near is useless unless you dump games(no entry point...)

A database update should remove the icons or you can manually remove them(app.db)

from what I understand, u can actually delete all of vs0 and u won't hard brick. a soft brick is a possibility though. I've never personally done it though.
