Hacking How to backup savegames?

Just wondering if i only got the R4 and lets say the pokemon diamond game which i bought(not the backup of the game but the actual game itself).
Is it possible for me to extract the savegame from that game with only the R4 and some kind of homebrew app?
If yes, how?

All you have to do is use a nifty little app called Eepinator. Whack this file on your card(making sure its been patched by your R4 first). Then go to the option DS Cart --> File.Put the game in (in your case Pokemon), hit start, put your R4 back in then hit start again and your done. Link . I hope this helps

"error opening Fat!!"

Anyone know what this is?

I got the file, but when i start the game it says that the savefile is damaged..

I've called the savefile the same as my rom, but i cant get it to work..
Checked the file with pokesav, and all the data is there, i recognize all my pokemon showing there and my name and so forth.

Please help!

It's probably in the wrong size. Use a save convertor, and convert it to R4 format. The save files the R4 uses are not the standard.

I take it you can do the opposite too? (R4 save to commercial cart). I'm just wondering as I may buy Battle Revolution.

Used the pokesave to convert it to 512 instead of 256, so its working now =)
