Hacking How to activate gateway 3ds on A9HL

I followed the guide and i have a9HL. and i know i managed to get gateway to work when i installed it last month.

But i forgot how to boot into gateway? I though it was Holding L but no screen shows and i cant press select to show my games..


-Not sure if i did the logo or no logo part of the guide.

Anyway the guide also says hold down DPAD when booting.
But either L or DPAD is not doing anything...

What firmware are you on? 11.1 broke gateway menus for now.
Did you use brickways a9lh method or the non brickprone one?

I didnt update im on 11.0
I have no idea what i used. Anyway i found out. it is L PLUS downpad for some reason... instead of one of them.
