I'm just curious to know the cost of them, I still looking to find one for my switch (Whole year later) and want to make sure i get good price and lot of storage. Just enough info to help me gauge the range.

I bought mine on March 9th 2017, together with the Switch.
64GB. Paid 18€.

Brand: Sandisk
Class: UHS-1

Now I am looking for a 200GB one perhaps. I've seen them in Amazon for around 55€, I still don't need them yet, but if they go below 40€ I think I will get one nonetheless.

They sell those? :wtf:
Yes, far more common than 256 GB. They also sell 400 GB cards. At the time, no one managed to fit 256 GB in, but a lot of people managed 200.

I don't have a Switch, but I have numerous MicroSD cards. Currently my phone and 3DS both have 128 GB cards, which I got on Black Friday at WalMart for $25 a couple years ago.

EDIT: Also, given that this is in the Switch forum, I'm not voting.

Sorry, I just assumed it was trending at multiple factors. I didn't know they had other variants other than the multiplying factors. :ninja:

There's no technical reason they should make them at powers of 2, that's just tradition.

i got my 200gb and 128gb SDXC when there's Amazon's blackFriday, 55 euro for 200gb one and 45 for 128gb one, only one piece per person was allowed per purchase.

Samsung 256GB EVO Plus SDXC 256GB from Amazon - $125 - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XFS5657/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I mainly buy physical, but I have the same in my 3DS which is almost full. Seeing the news that 3DS may be nearing EOL, I'd rather have more space then require a bigger card at some point. Plus, moving from a 32GB card to this 256GB card was a pain considering my sysNAND and 32GB card were full, but I wanted everything on the 256GB. I had to archive all of my titles and re-download everything again. No easy copy/paste from old SD card to new sadly.

  • what brand - Samsung
  • class - 10 (UHS-1, Up to 80MB/s)
  • file size - 128GB
  • price - $25 on Black Friday sale at Walmart

Bought 2 of them, one is in my FLAC player. I should also note that I only buy SD cards online from the manufacturers directly on their Amazon page, Their eBay page, or in-person in a retail store. Not a single fake yet.
