I only got one little pixel which didn't work so I went backt to the Dixons where I bought it and they replaced it for a new one and said that they would send the old one back to Nintendo so they would get a new one too.

I think I read that up to 3 dead pixels are "tolerable" when it comes to smartphones (of other manufacturers obviously, I think the text I read was from Samsung), so I guess they'd have a similar guideline. But yea, when they're annoying just ask for a replacement and bug them till they give you one.

I'm currently sitting on a 3DS with a half-defective A button. It won't work when pressed in a certain angle, which is the normal angle I press when I play (and god damn it's annoying when you have to press 3-6 times until your Pokémon finally uses its move) and gotta send it back to Amazon US when I find the time.

I had 2, quite noticeable in the center left of the screen. I rang Nintendo, they told me to take it back to HMV who would exchange it. They did and HMV said they send it back to Nintendo to get a replacement on their stock system.

Cheeky me though kept the Stylus!

This is my third 3DS from them, however, with each prior to it having been returned for the same issue. They explicitly stated that I could not make any further returns.

That's why you should of turned the third even the second one on, IN THE STORE!!!!!

I know any of the two monitors I have bought in the past that had a dead pixel that I returned I asked to have the second one opened in store and hooked up so I wouldn't have to come back again, that or give me my money back on the dead pixel unit. If they would refuse on either account then you get the manager.

I bought a dsi from gamestop and got home and the screen was a nick under the touchscreen on the lcd, took it back and the second one I opened in store and checked it out.

1.

One dead pixel is too much for me, and I demand a replacement system if still under warranty.

Well I called them up today about the pixels and the strange marks, and the manager is seeing me tomorrow about it at 10:30. Eep.

Oh hey there Nintendo!

HOOO I imagine a nintendo building with a HUGE NINTENDO LOGO, not just a grey building.

Very few tech companies brand their buildings in Australia. That's more of a banking company thing to do around here.

Back OT: Nintendo IIRC is one of the few companies that consider dead pixels to be an actual problem. They should be able to replace it.
