Please refer to the new FAQ on the Gateway's site, they're working on new firmware support as we speak, but as of yet, it isn't 100% guaranteed

well i get my 4.5 3ds today so i can (finally) buy a gateway

when news first surfaced it included 1 new exploit and 2 teams working on flash kits. what we actually got was the gateway. is it possible there will be clones -- probably. looking back over emails and notes from reviews, i've learned that most of the 'ds' flash kit scene is a tight group that is cross-sectioned in ways some aren't aware. so here is my speculation to toss into this discussion, could it be possible that the gateway team is made up of the remnants of the ds teams, all working together to make 1 product and get rich off of it? all rushing to beat the next big exploit, which if smea would have us believe is just round the corner?
