How is the Mclassic?

For some reason the mclassic increases the contrast and the colors are more vivid than without it, the antialiasing applied is way better than my Samsung QLED one, so I left the TV in PC mode without any post processing, the mclassic takes care of the AA processing.

The mClassic retro is on sale at the moment, don't care to pay more than 30, and $40 is already pushing it, but I can pull the trigger for a relatively cheap offering.

Anyone tried to stretch the 4:3 output image back to a 16:9 source on their TV?
Does it look the exact same as the other mclassic, or does it introduce artifacts? If someone has the original mclassic, try retro mode and please get back to me.
