How good is your hearing?

No, turning the volume up really loud is cheating since the speakers boost the sound and makes it easier to be heard.

After 17.4khz I can't hear them through my laptop speakers anymore but if I plug in my headphones I can hear up to 20khz. 20khz sounds like when you walk by a muted tv and you can tell that it's still on. The 21 and 22 are pretty much silent. I can tell when it starts and stops though because of some sort of click you can hear through the headphones. 17 btw.

The 19mhz I can BARELY hear and it seems to be the same frequency as the tinnitus I have developed already in life. My tinnitus is a high pitched tone, constant all the time.
I have frequented many many concerts, way too loud in amazingly small rooms. Sometimes having noticable ringing for days afterward. Played in a band for 4 years in a small room with amatuer bandmates who argued who should be loudest and always complained they couldn't hear eachother over the drums. my brothers blasted bass all the time. With big subwoofers.
And i listen to alot of music with my headphones..
mowed alot of lawns...headphones even louder so i could hear the music...
I'm not surprised I'm losing my hearing already.

I went to this website yesterday to hear the ringtones like many of you did. But, I just noticed this morning that they hit my cell phone account with a $19.99 charge TWICE!!! I called AT&T and they said this was a prolific scam and to be wary of these types of sites. She said many times they will charge your cell phone account even if you haven't given them authorization or purchased anything. Just wanted to let you guys know before someone else got burned.

ouch, that's why i never give my mobile phone number on these kind of websites, it's the same with text messages, you get charged like £5 and they spam your number.

I couldn't hear 20-22khz very well, rest of them were fine.

I guess my hearing is slowly starting to fade away...

Narin, when I went initially to this site, it took me to another, very similiar website, where it said that the mosquito ringtones would be downloaded free to your cell phone. That's when they hit me with the charges. No harm done though, because I called AT&T and got the charge taken off my phone.

Oh, and I went to the real site to listen to the tones and I could hear all but the 2 highest frequencies.

I can't really hear the sounds over 19hz , but my Head feels weird when I play them and I can hear them extremly quit thus I only hear them at very quit moments.
And I'm only 14. >_>
Seems like my Hearing is going to die faster than I want it too.

The loudest frequency I can hear is 16, then 17 is lower and 17.4 is even lower and after 18 I have to really strain my ears to hear the sound, and I have to be in a completely quit room... I could hear 20 just barely, but I couldn't really hear 22.

I can only hear 17.4 and below, but I suspect that it is just my deteriorated headphones as I can usually hear the sounds emitted by electronic devices that most other people I can remember as far back as age 10 could not hear
