Hardware How good is this SSD

I was planning on getting a Samsung 128GB SSD soon but then I then saw this: http://www.macmall.com/p/PNY-Portable/Removable-Drives/product~dpno~9115707~pdp.hdceiji

for about the same price. I googled around some but couldn't find much about it. Anybody know how well this performs?

It is cheaper for a reason, it uses cheaper components. Since that SSD uses SandForce controller I wouldn't recommend it unless you plan to use it as external hard drive. Samsung SSD is better than SandForce based SSD excluding Intel branded.

Performance should be pretty good. However the life expectancy won't be so good. OCZ redeemed themselves with firmware updates, but I can't find out if PNY did release the same updates for its controller.
