I would say if they really are RiTEK RiDATA then its a good all round media to use for most things including games consoles ....more so if its labeled GRADE A as this is the best quality RITEK make

Be warned though check they are genuine RiDATA some have been known to be fake/oem badged as RiDATA to cash in on the RiTEK popularity market and have been crappy CMC media which is about the worst you can get!

they even went to the extent of faking the ATIP codes at one point trying to pass them off as genuine

this also happened with Taiyo Yuden medias too at one point!

so buy from a trusted seller or one that if you have any issues with you can replace whatever you have left!

CMC media isn't crap most my burns are on CMC dvd-r (memorex brand) , ritek are good to but have known degradation issues.
honestly you can use cheap media and the wii likes it fine, i have some JVC dvd-r that run just as well as my CMC and ritek dvd-r's do.
you want to really know where the media stands here is a list.

MOST ANY dvd-r will work!(except maybe fake media?)
if you buy cheapo media or high quality media it doesn't really matter get what you want/think will work.
i think you should do a test.
the best way to find out what is good for your wii is to buy 2 or 3 different brands say (first class)verbatim, (second class)memorex, and some cheap (third class)media like jvc and run test to see how the wii works with each one.
i have found no difference, but your wii might not like a certain media or only like one type.
it's best for you to figure this out your self instead of asking really.

Evade memorex, many times the disc would not even load. My bests results are with verbatim, ive bought 50 with a white box specialy for wii, they never failed for me, burning them on 4x speed.
Ive seen test results where imageburn had less errors then the once burned with nero (for example)
also,..... dont forget to clean your lenz once in a while.

Good luck and happy burning

what media code where they? and are they dvd-r or dvd+r?
the memorex i use are 16x cmc, mag, am3 dvd-r and i have no bad burns on them all at 8x speed(you should never burn media at lower that half the highest speed it can burn IMO).
only bad burn i had was a single memorex disc(bought a 5 pack didn't use the rest yet) that was a kinda bad burn (backup of mgs2:sol)cut scenes lagged as well as codec messages and it was a RITEKF1 media code.

i think it's my burner that doesn't like ritek media.
i have some gc backups i have yet to see if they work(mod chip should be here any day now drat the holidays) but nero cd/dvd speed gives them about a average 70% quality rating (lowest was a 66%)and they're memorex mini dvd-r manufacture id: RITEKG04
I'm starting to think memorex and ritek don't mix(well they do but it's not a good combination).
i have yet to burn a cmc disk below a 95% quality rating and that's even on more than a year old ps2 backups.
