ROM Hack How fast/slow is installing CIAs supposed to be?

When installing CIAs FBI reports that the installation is progressing at a speed of 1Mb/s, so currently installing a 1.7GB CIA takes me half an hour. All CIA files install at this speed. Is this normal? Feels really slow to me. Am i using a bad SD Card? It's a Transcend class 10 32GB.

Class doesn't matter, there's a reason (besides cost) the console comes with a class 4, the CPU is slower than a class 10 card

That speed you reported doesn't seem unrealistic to me

Completely normal. As far as i know, o3ds is 1 mb/s while n3ds is 1.6 mb/s

in my own experience, the old 3ds and 2ds has 1MB/s while New 3DS or New 2DS has 1.5 - 1.6 MB/s. Class doesn't matter.

edit: I own 2DS and New 3DSXL.

Thanks for your feedback guys, you've spared me from an unnecessary card purchase. I guess I just wasn't expecting the installation process to actually be this slow.
