Where will it record to? I see input slots (HDMI, AV) but how will I get the video & audio back onto my PC? Is it possible to livestream with this device?
In some of the images, there's a USB port on one of the sides. I presume that's where it goes to the PC. By the looks of things as well, it seems to have flash-based storage, but I'm not entirely sure about that because if you want high quality, a small amount of flash memory won't help a bit.

It looks like a digital TV box rather than any kind of capture device for external sources (digital TV/DVB-T/DVB-T2 does come already compressed after all). If it is anything like the ones I have played with then it will be some kind of SD or USB storage. The HDMI is just either an upscaled version of the digital TV signal or an actual HD digital signal where such things exist.

There are cheap Chinese capture devices for HDMI sources ( http://www.dx.com/p/cmi-1920x1080-h...ress-card-for-ps3-xbox360-hdtv-pc-blue-285264 and http://www.dx.com/p/hdmi-1-3-pci-express-high-definition-video-capture-card-72046 being examples of the concept, though I would probably save that little bit more and get a really nice one), however this is not one of them -- no games, no streams and nothing like that in any manner you would care to use (as in you could but you have basically a full broadcast system in the middle of it). If your budget is $25 USD though you are not going to get much beyond either a nice second hand card with svideo or a piece of junk ezcap.
