Ninja Gaiden.

My friend and I were having a large dispute over the game title.
I mean seriously, is it pronounced Gay-den or Guy-den.

Haha, the Gay-den pronounciation would really bring in the common headings for negative reviews.

What do you guys think?

It's Ninja Guyden. It's not a matter of what do you think, it's a matter of prononciation. It's a japanese origin word, so you pronounce it as such: ai = eye.

If it were ninja gaeden or ninja gaden, fine, but ai is almost always "aye" sound.

But maybe that's because guy sounds different than the japanese gai, even if by only a little
