    Ninja Gaiden.

My friend and I were having a large dispute over the game title.
I mean seriously, is it pronounced Gay-den or Guy-den.

Haha, the Gay-den pronounciation would really bring in the common headings for negative reviews.

    What do you guys think?

When I played it on the NES I would pronounce it gayden. After learning Japanese pronunciation I pronounce it guyden.

    DAMN, I bet on 'Gay-den'.

I thought it sounded humorous and at the same time, easily rememberable.
It being guy-den makes me imagine how it would sound under moviephone editing.

I can imagine myself swiping the stylus up and down in frustration during a boss battle.

    Then, unexpectedly, beating it accidentally.

Not a fan of the control mode but, it's innovative.

    Over there.
Guy-Den. 'Tis how you pronounce it with a Japanese accent.

You should make this a poll. [IMG]

It's a Japanese word, so 'gai' is pronounced 'guy'.

But seriously, since when was 'gai' ever pronounced 'gay'. I can't think of any words in which it is. I'm sure someone will prove me wrong. [IMG]
